Regardless of whether Enspiria is involved in development of the RFP, the vendor evaluation process can be supported independently.
Requirements can significantly affect the total lifecycle costs including ongoing maintenance and support costs as well as the upfront project costs. Enspiria has sample guidelines for vendor responses including:
- Do the products support the requirements?
- What are the deployment and integration requirements?
- What level of configuration or customization is required to meet the requirements?
- Are any third-party products/technologies or services required for implementation, deployment, and operations and maintenance?
- Will data migration, conversion and or clean-up be required and to what extent?
- Are the costs, licenses, or fees for the third-party products/technologies and services embedded in the pricing?
Enspiria brings templates that have been used to effectively facilitate and document proposal evaluations and product selections. They are designed to normalize technical evaluation scores and consolidate them with the total cost of ownership including procurement, implementation and operations and maintenance, as well as potential product/project risks to develop an overall ranking of each proposal.
