Operational Effectiveness

Enspiria Solutions helps utilities design and deploy integrated technology solutions to reduce operating and maintenance costs and increase customer satisfaction by improving work effectiveness, workforce productivity, customer response, service reliability, employee and public safety, and enterprise performance management.

Work Effectiveness - Provide the right information to the right people at the right time by combining customer data from CIS, asset and topology data from GIS, network and load telemetry from SCADA/SA/DA and AMI with work request data from the work initiation sources (e.g., customer service orders, trouble calls, inspection and maintenance work orders, construction projects, etc.) and work status data from work management applications like WMS, OMS, and MWM.

Work Productivity - Automate the work processes and eliminate duplicate data entries from work initiation and job design to work execution and closing by deploying WMS, OMS, and MWM/GPS applications and integrating them with back office systems like plant accounting, timesheets, and billing.

Customer Response - Facilitate prompt, and proactive, communications with customers on work order status, outage events and statuses (including initial and revised estimated time of restoration), follow-up work, etc., by integrating MWM, OMS and WMS with multi-media customer communication applications such as call center, IVR, paging, email, SMS, etc.

Service Reliability - Reduce customer interruption minutes (SAIDI and CAIDI) by using AMI to detect and locate outages more quickly, using OMS for properly grouping and prioritizing outage tickets, streamlining the outage dispatch process with MWM, integrating SCADA/SA/DA and AMI data to optimize emergency load transfers, and using AMI to quickly and non-intrusively detect unresolved nested outages, etc.

Employee and Public Safety - Use GIS, graphical work design, DMS/OMS and mobile mapping to maintain the network connectivity model so that the energized state of the network is timely and accurately known to dispatchers and field crews to reduce field accidents. AMI, MWM and GPS applications also reduce field drive time, accidents, and risks of injury to field employees.

Enterprise Performance Management - automate data collection and analysis of performance metrics through each of the aforementioned applications to provide timely and accurate key performance indicators to utility managers.
