Asset Performance
Our enterprise asset management (EAM) approach optimizes investment and work planning through the asset lifecycle to reduce capital project requirements and O&M budgets while maintaining or improving system reliability, safety and risks, and asset utilization. The benefits lie not only in helping utilities do the work more effectively but also become better at deciding what kind of asset related investments to make or not to make, what work to do or not to do, and where and when to do it.
EAM involves the implementation of an enterprise performance dashboard and an asset investment prioritization tool. It includes redesigning business processes to focus on asset performance in addition to operational efficiencies. It integrates operational systems to automatically collect data to support the asset investment prioritization tool.
For example, integrated asset, asset operation and work history data will enable engineers to make better decisions on inspection and maintenance work and work schedules. AMI data will be used to improve transformer load management to reduce overall transformer costs and electric losses. Combining AMI data with historical data from SCADA/SA/DA will enable engineers to better balance feeder loads and phase voltages.
Enspiria consultants offer services in the following areas:
- Capex - Capital expenditures planning and prioritization
- CBM/CBI - Condition based maintenance and inspection
- FIM - Facilities Inspection and Maintenance
